Marissa Alperin is enjoying her fifth year as an accomplished jewelry
designer with her own studio in Brooklyn Heights, NY and many mentions in
such notable publications as Seventeen, New York Magazine, and The New York
Times. Her accessories, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and engagement rings
are true works of art.

Marissa's custom engagement and wedding rings are particularly sought out by
many couples throughout the country. Marissa works personally with each
bride and groom to ensure that their desires are met in unique designs that
reflect the quality and craftsmanship of all her pieces.

Marissa introduced her first collection of beaded bracelets in the spring of
1999.  Realizing her passion and desire to create her own jewelry designs,
she left her job as a translator at National Geographic to pursue a degree
from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Jewelry Design. After
graduating, she opened Marissa Alperin Studio in Brooklyn Heights, NY in
February 2003, blocks from where she grew up.

Marissa received a bachelors degree in International Business and Foreign
Languages from the University of Maryland at College Park. She has traveled
extensively throughout Europe and has lived and worked in Spain and Italy.
She currently lives in Brooklyn Heights, NY with her husband and young son.
